Memorial event: Restituzione dei Nomi 2026 dedicated to honoring victims of terror in the Soviet Union. Organized by Russi Contro La Guerra Italia and the Foresta dei Giusti foundation, the event features a reading of names of Italians who died in Gulags, including workers, political prisoners, and partisans. Participants can share stories or remain silent in remembrance at the Giardino dei Giusti, with a follow-up activity to write letters to political prisoners in Russia. This poignant gathering emphasizes the importance of keeping these names alive.
